The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alsace (CCI Alsace) organized Bizz & Buzz, the largest digital festival in Alsace region in France from March 7th to 9th. As the festival celebrates its 4th year, the organizer decided to welcome a guest country for the first time to make the event more international. With over 150 years friendship with the region, Japan is selected as the first guest country. In addition to several Japanese companies which have developed relationship with Alsace such as All Nippon Airways and NTT Communications, two Japanese startups, Eyes, JAPAN and Cerevo from Orange Fab Asia are invited to the event.
The two startups participated in the startup exhibition at La cité du train in Mulhouse, the largest train museum in France with other 14 French companies on 7th evening. Eyes, JAPAN exhibited Fukushima Wheel, a smart bike with environmental sensor and LED light on a wheel. and Cerevo demonstrated Tipron, a transforming projection robot. Mr. Jean Rottner, Mayor of Mulhouse city visited a booth of the both startups to ask many questions and discuss how the city could collaborate with the startups.
On the second day of the event, Eyes, JAPAN and Cerevo gave presentation at UGC Ciné Cité, a cinema complex in Strasbourg. After the presentation, many of the audiences came to the startups to state admiration for their innovation.
