1. Tokyu Resort Service and GREEN UTILITY (Season 12) starts to install power bank sharing service, “mocha” at 7 ski resorts

mocha allows users to borrow and return a power bank anywhere. You could borrow a power bank near your home to charge your smartphone on the go and return it to another mocha station. Tokyu Resort Service is promoting cashless at their ski resorts. With mocha, it will proceed developing environment for smart ski resort plan.

2. AI solution provider, ABEJA (Season 1) established a subsidiary in Silicon Valley

ABEJA launched ABEJA Singapore on March 2017, and since then it has acquired knowledge for overseas expansion by achieving results including collaboration with local organizations such as National University of Singapore, Denso International Asia, and SMRT. By establishing US office, ABEJA Technologies, ABEJA begins business expansion in the US based on ABEJA Platform, creation of strategic collaboration with US corporations, and cutting edge R&D with competitive advantage in international market.

3. Video analytics AI platform, Future Standard (Season 7) raised 1.5M USD

Future Standard, video analytics AI platform “SCORER” provider raised 1.5million USD from Tokyo University of Science Innovation Capital and other investors. This is the first deal for the university fund. Future Standard and Tokyo University of Science plans to collaborate in data analytics using video analytics AI and AI development.

4. Chikaku (Season 7), senior-first IoT developer, raised 4.2M USD to reach 9.2M USD of total fundraising

Chikaku provides Mago Channel, which directly sends video and photos taken by smartphone to their parents, who could feel like living together with grandchildren by watching them on large TV and speaker. With the capital, Chikaku plans to develop new products as well as to utilize data and to partner with various companies and governments for R&D.
