11 startups from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Indonesia, who came to Tokyo for the Demo Day held yesterday, participated in the mini tour to visit organizations in Tokyo who support foreign startups coming into Japan market on 13th of December.
In the morning, we visited JETRO to listen to its presentation about its support for foreign startups such as consultation about establishing a company in Japan and help for business development.
Mactaris, the CEO of Mactar, a Taiwanese startup in the Spring 2019 season of Tokyo program gave a presentation about their experience of launch in Japan market. We learned his very valuable and practical knowledge, particularly for B2C hardware products.
We visited Tokyo One-Stop Business Establishment Center, which provides consultation service for each specific topic such as legal, tax, and so on.
We moved to Shibuya to visit Plug and Play Japan where we learned about their program and several success stories about foreign startups entering Japan market through their support with lunch provided by Plug and Play Japan. Thank you!
As the last visit, we went to Global Business Hub Tokyo to listen to their presentation as well as to observe their facilities to receive foreign startups.
